Samantha asked how long it takes to get the application from Gladney. I looked back in the blog archives and it seems that we mailed off the request for app on 9/26 and got the app on 10/4. So a little over a week. Of course, we do live in Fort Worth where Gladney is located, so maybe that helped the travel time. I'd go ahead and give Gladney a call if you haven't already. Everyone at Gladney is unbelievably helpful! At least everyone I've talked to so far, and I think I've talked to almost everyone at one point or another. I'm so glad we chose Gladney. I think we won't even look for another agency when we do our next adoption, I am familiar and comfortable with Gladney so I think we want them to handle all of our adoption related needs.
Ok, still waiting. I think I'm going to get a shirt that says that..."Still Waiting" so I can wear it and people can stop asking me if we've heard anything...Trust me, the minute we hear something, everyone will know it.
