Ethiopia - Day 2, meeting Deacon

We were on our way to the orphanage to meet Deacon at 9:00 am this morning. Here was our first encounter:

After that we had lunch with the Bottomlys and the Browns [our first dining with child experience] and now we're back at the Hilton resting.

Deacon is a very relaxed and chilled out baby. He has done a minimal amount of fussing and already had a bottle and a nap. I think he's going to be a very good fit for us.

Congratulations Clayton and Margo.
Deacon is precious and truly a blessing for you and your family. We will have all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Enjoy your new son, and we are praying you all have a safe trip home. We feel like we have just had another grandbaby. Deacon's photo is on our "grandkids" bookshelf. Give him a loving squeeze from us. Pauline and Aubrey
