4 days to go...

Wow, we leave in 4 days. It's too crazy to comprehend. I just got back from church and would like to take this opportunity to thank a very important group of people that without them, this whole process would not have been possible. OUR CHURCH!!! Yay for Grace Baptist Church in Fort Worth!!!

From the very beginning of the journey they have supported us financially (through some very sneaky anonymous donations), and prayerfully (that's why our whole process went so smoothly and quickly), and emotionally (a ton of people are almost more excited than I am... if that's possible). It makes me wonder about people that don't have a church family to support them. How do they do life? I can't imagine not having all the wonderful people at Grace who have partnered with us as we start this new chapter of our family life.

Also, our church does this thing where new parents get meals brought to their homes for the first week or so after the arrival of the new baby. I'm usually signed up to bring stuff....but now I'm the one who's going to be getting the food!!!!! Yay!!!! Can I request that y'all bring us dinner for at least a month?

Ok, only roughly 96 hours till we go get our baby!

I can see you down at the airport now...Don't upset any of those airport guards. They have the authority to have you strip down and you don't want that. haha

You've come a long way baby!!
We love you both!

I'm in tears thinking of what an amazing adventure lies ahead of you! Have a wonderful time. My cousin's fiance (who was adopted from Korea at age 5) suggested to us that we take pictures of EVERYTHING - the airplane we arrive on, the airport, even the hotel and the road we travel on to the orphanage. He recently returned to Korea for the fist time, and wished he had had more pictures to help formulate his origins - even if they were only of places and familiar objects. Obviously, you'll be taking tons of pictures of Deacon, so that part won't be a problem!!! Have a wonderful trip - we can't wait to hear all about it!
