Packing!!

Clayton posted this pic on his blog, but I think it should be on this blog also. Here are the suitcases we are packing for Ethiopia! We borrowed 3 big ones from the Rothenbergers! Thanks Shane and Deneise!!! The 2 on the right are full of humanitarian aid stuff like diapers, formula, a baby carrier and wipes. Lots of wipes. The empty one is for Clayton and I to take our stuff in and the little one on the chair is my carry-on and the other big one in top left is Deacon's suitcase. All of Deacon's clothes are on the bed and I'll get to packing them soon.

I don't know if you can see what is in my carry-on, but it's instant mac and cheese and lysol cleaning wipes. I've been reconsidering the mac and cheese. I think they have enough eatery options in Addis Ababa and there is always room service at the Hilton. We booked one of the last rooms at the Hilton. Yay! Although I'm kind of jealous of the Bottomly's who will be staying at the super luxurious Sheraton! The cleaning wipes are a must. I think I have an ever so slight case of OCD or germaphobia and the cleaning wipes give me peace of mind.

We leave in 11 days!!!!! I've got so much to do in 11 days!!! Luckily I made a count-down sheet with everything I need to do and all my appts. between here and then. (ocd. what ocd???)

Also, I got the cutest gift last night from a lady at our church, I'll post a pic later, but I can tell you it is a diaper bag with Deacon's pic on it!!! Sooo cute!!!

Oh my gosh Margo...Seeing that you are packed is causeing me some anxiety...for real, my heart is racing right now. I am not quite as prepared as you are..that makes me semi-nervous. I think I have everything pretty together...I mean for the most part..well minus luggage. I still need to figure that one out. Ahhh!

I feel like the word causeing is spelled wrong...causing, causeing...they both look strange right now.

I am completely freaking out! It seems to have gone so fast from referral to travel!!! We are just starting our wait for referral and to see you and the Bottomlys traveling so soon is incredible. Your families are in our prayers!

Have you called your Doctor to see if he/she can give y'all anything to deal with the water/food over there? I don't want you getting sick while taking care of my great nephew. Jan and I will come up to see the new addition when Clayton and you get back and settled.

P.S. It is causing.
