Friday we did it. We hand delivered our application to Gladney and here is a pic of us with the application moments before we handed it over. Clayton felt silly asking a stranger to take our picture with an envelope, but he does it to humor me. Just another reason to love him. He even manages a smile.
One crazy thing that Tonia told us as we handed over the application was that things would move quickly now. She almost made it seem like it would be less than a year to travel to get little Deacon Elliot Faulkner...I think that is the name we have chosen...Let me know what you think about it...

Sorry for all the commenting but I'm ready to come home and you guys are a good contact with that. Only TWO weeks to go!!! But back to my reason for commenting...I love the name! But remember that you may completely change your mind when you see the kid. Anyway, glad to see things are coming along!
