Phone orientation

The phone orientation is now completed. Everything was explained pretty clearly, and the realization of how much paperwork we have to do is setting in. We've got to produce a certified copy of like every document that has ever had our name on it: birth certificate, marriage certificate, medical records, 3rd grade report card, dog's maiden name, social security number of childhood neighbor, etc...

Judy was covering some of the reasons why we could possibly lose our child referral and she mentioned a sad problem with the children in orphanages in Ethiopia. They have a very high mortality rate. She wasn't sure why [too many kids, not getting the proper care, poor conditions, etc.]. She did say that for this reason Gladney has opened their own orphanage in Ethiopia that cares for 10-20 infants. This way they are better able to give them the proper care. This makes me want to get the process going even faster.

Some names I'm considering for our son...
[I say "I'm" considering, cause I'm not sure Margo agrees with all these choices, but I think we'll find something we both like]
-Noah...probably won't go with this because when Margo says the word "no" she likes to put an extra "a" syllable on the end. This would confuse the child no doubt.
-Deacon...Greek in origin, "giving"
-Preston...English origin, "spiritual"
-Lyron...Hebrew, "my song"
-True...English, "truthful"

Ok. I love Deacon and Preston but please...not the other two! I mean, I guess the meaning behind Lyron is cool but it's a little too out there. Just my opinion but I don't want to have to make fun of my own nephew.
